Our Community

Welcome to the Layton Avenue Church Community! We are a diverse group of people. We have several churches (Arabic and Hispanic) under our umbrella that are an extension of our faith community. Our leadership is currently in the process of seeking God’s will for who is to become our lead pastor, since the retirement of our previous pastor last Spring. Our Interim Pastor

Pastor Clyde Hamer has been involved in ministry for approximately 40 years. This ministry includes a diversity of experience including pastoring churches in both Arkansas and Wisconsin, including a church start in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His ministry has included both full time and bi-vocational ministry. His experience and expertise have assisted many churches in construction projects.

Pastor Clyde also serves on the Minnesota/Wisconsin Disaster Relief Team. More recently this ministry has included a focus on assisting churches in revitalization. He and His wife, Dee, have three children and six grandchildren.
